The hike to Horseshoe Bend is 3/4 mile each way on a sandy trail. Give yourself an 1.5-2 hours if you like to take pictures, or more time if you just want to hang out by the edge.In the morning Horseshoe Bend will have shadows. Around noon the entire bend will be lit up down to the river.
