Does skydiving get boring?
It never gets boring. I wouldn’t still be doing it after ~17 years if it did. The plane ride certainly is boring.
Are skydivers crazy?
It’s certainly not an everyday occurrence for most people! But while skydiving is an extreme sport and it does get your adrenaline pumping, we argue that it’s not a crazy thing to do. Skydivers aren’t crazy! In fact, they’re sensible, calculated people who know exactly what they’re doing and do it with precision.

How many times do you have to tandem skydive before you can solo?
At Skydive California, we recommend one tandem jump prior to going solo, so you can get a sense of what’s to come, then it’s off to solo! In our Accelerated Freefall program (AFF), you will begin with an extensive 4-6 hour class and begin your solo ‘category’ jumps.
